How many accounts can I have with FT+?
You can have any number of evaluation accounts you wish to trade. The accounts must be traded separately, meaning any accounts you are trading, must not have any copy trading or hedging. Please see the FAQ's on our website for any further information, on this.
We will only fund two simulated live accounts (“FT+ trader simulated live accounts”) at a time. Meaning, if you are trading more than two evaluations, and pass more than two, one would be put in hold as you can only have two FT+ simulated live accounts at any one time. However, this pertains to Simulated live accounts that have been upgraded from an evaluation pass. You can have multiple Master accounts (our instant simulated program) at any one time.
We do offer merging of FT+ Trader simulated live accounts, however there are some conditions for this. We will only merge simulated live accounts if the accounts are both untraded at the time of the request, subject to usual review of risk checks (including any Copy Trading or Hedging over the accounts) This is because you cannot trade the same markets at the same time on more than one account, please see our rules on copy trading under our FAQ section of the website.
Secondly, the maximum merged account size would be $200,000 since that is our highest value program currently. To further explain this, this means that if you had two separate $200,000 accounts, you could not request a merge. If you had two untraded $100,000 accounts (on the same program and platform) we would be able to merge these accounts into one $200,000 account.
Our maximum initial funding (AUM) is $400,000, but this is separated to $200,000 per program, which means one simulated live Experienced $200,000 (or $250,000 if the “Boost” Promotion is active) account, and one simulated live $200,000 Advanced account or one simulated live $200,000 Premium account. Not one merged $400,000 account.
