Is there a profit target once I am funded?
No. There is nothing you have to reach to keep the account, and no deadline to reach it by.
The one figure worth knowing is the payout threshold. You need at least 3% of your account balance in simulated profit before you can request a payout. That is a threshold on withdrawals rather than a target you are being measured against, and there is no penalty for sitting below it. It is also not the amount you have to withdraw, which starts at $50. Full detail is in Payouts.
What is the daily loss limit?
3%, balance based.
What is the maximum drawdown?
6%, and on the funded account it trails your equity until it locks in at your starting balance.
Here is what that means on a $50,000 account.
Your floor starts at $47,000. As your equity climbs, the floor follows 6% behind it. At $51,000 equity your floor is $48,000. At $52,000 it is $49,000.
Once your equity reaches $53,000 the floor reaches $50,000, and there it stops. Your starting balance is now your permanent floor and it does not move again, however high your equity goes after that.
So the rule works one way on the challenge and another once you are funded. On the challenge the floor is fixed at $47,000 throughout. Once funded it climbs with you until your original $50,000 is protected, then holds.
What happens if I breach a loss limit when funded?
The same as on the challenge. Breaching either the daily loss limit or the maximum drawdown is a Major violation and the funded account is cancelled. There is no warning stage and no soft breach.
What is the profit split?
You keep 80% of your simulated profit. The split does not increase over time on this program.
Is there a consistency rule?
Yes, 25%. No single trading day's simulated profit can be more than 25% of your total simulated profit at the point you request a payout.
When is the consistency rule checked?
At the point of a payout request. It does not cancel your account. It means that request is not yet eligible, and you keep trading until the spread of your simulated profit brings you back inside 25%.
Can I trade the news and hold over the weekend?
Yes, same as the challenge. News trading remains governed by the FT+ News Trading Policy.
Can I scale my account?
No. There is no scaling plan on this program at launch.
