All FT+ Trader simulated live accounts allow traders to make a payout request, as long as their program's payout criteria have been met. Payout criteria for your program is available on the website program pages and the help center article for your chosen program. Please ensure you review this information for your chosen program to understand how you can make a payout request.
You should also note that payouts will not lower your HWM (high watermark). For more information, you should read through the drawdown information, also available in the help center Drawdown folder, which can be found here: https://help.fundedtradingplus.com/drawdown-information/
You can only make a payout request from your FT+ Dashboard. You must have met your program's payout criteria in order to make a request, and your account must be flat (meaning no open positions) in order to click the green “Request payout” button in your dashboard. If the conditions are not met in any capacity, the button will be greyed out.
We urge any account holders to ensure they are aware of all payout criteria for their specific program before making a payout request.
Once you have made a successful payout request in your FT+ Dashboard, the FT+ team are systematically notified of this instantly. The accounts, operations and risk teams deal with all payouts. When a request comes in, the standard review and processing time is 2 business days (We operate Monday-Friday). However, most are processed and even paid, the same day.
If a request is flagged for a risk review (based on risk policies and terms and conditions, all available on our website and help center) then the ETA for this payout request is moved to 5-7 business days, though it is, almost always, much sooner.
All payout requests will be processed as quickly as possible and within noted time frames, unless we are experiencing unusually high demand, in which case we would of course inform all customers where necessary.
Example of the payout process:
An 'FT+ Simulated Live' account has a balance of $105,000 - this is $5000 simulated profit on a $100,000 account.
There are no open trades on this account, and the account is eligible for a payout.
A trader makes a payout request of $5000 from the account, via the FT+ Dashboard
The account has a profit split of 80/20 (80%) assigned, meaning the trader will receive $4000 of this $5000 request.
The Funded Trading Plus accounts and/or risk department review the request, and this is approved.
The trader receives contact from the FT+ accounts/operations team regarding payment method, usually via our payment form.
Accounts team use payment form/payment details to make payment to the trader. The trader receives their payout requested amount, with email confirmation of payment.
