Can I reset my account?

Yes, you can reset a breached or failed evaluation. The reset button is available in the FT+ Dashboard and, when clicked, shows a popup that explains what a reset is and asks you to confirm your action.

For FT+, a reset is for when you are finished with an account, be it because it has breached, or you are close to your drawdown metrics, and you no longer wish to trade the account.  This is important to note, as when you hit the reset button, it means you are looking to purchase a new account, with the FT+ reset discount applied. Different programs offer different reset discount percentages, and prices for programs and resets are subject to regular assessment and may change.

You can not reset a simulated live account - there is no reset discount for this, as if you breach a simulated live account, you would need to purchase a new evaluation (or Master program) to try again. You would not reset the simulated live account.

To confirm, please ensure you're aware that when you hit the reset button, you are attempting to purchase a new account.
